Business Intelligence Manager · Jakarta, Indonesia

I studied economics at Universitas Indonesia, where I picked up the habit that defines the rest: causal inference is imagining the world where you did nothing, then being honest about how much of the outcome you can claim. Most promotional programs are credited with volume that would have arrived anyway.

Three years at Tokopedia deciding which promotions deserved to exist; since late 2023 at Allo Bank doing the same for a digital bank, and leading a team of six analysts. The analysis is rarely the bottleneck — asking a question with a decidable answer is. Outside work I write Timur.
